Who Are We Looking For

This programme is open to all Singapore-based students interested in making games. To apply, you must be a student or recent graduate from a university, polytechnic, art & design school or other institutes of higher learning.

You love games and want to make one. You are open-minded and a great team player who can communicate effectively with others. You possess a skill that your team requires. You long to play one of these roles for your team: a game producer, a game designer, a game programmer, a game artist, or a quality assurance tester. You are not required to be formally trained in the discipline you apply for but you must be pretty good at it.

You may apply for a maximum of 2 disciplines.

Game Producer

You are observant, objective and good with people. You take the initiative to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts. You can organise schedules and tasks. You have effective written and verbal communication skills. You are also interested in business and marketing.

You understand what makes a game fun and appealing to players. You have great analytical and problem-solving skills. You are able to break mechanics and concepts down to communicate them clearly to your team. You are creative beyond mere ideas!

Game Programmer

You are good at breaking things down in a logical way. You enjoy building things with code and want to make the games you enjoy instead of waiting for them to be made. You pride yourself as the person who actually implements abstract, non-tangible concepts into something functional!

You like drawing, designing characters and environments. You have a good sense of colours, layout, typography, visual flow and composition. You have an eye for detail. You are able to inspire people with visuals and communicate through sketches!

Quality Assurance Tester

You are meticulous and systematic. You like playing and breaking games. You have tons of patience and are willing to play the same level repeatedly until you find the root of the problem. You are also able to imagine the game experience from players' points of view.
