The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) Game Lab began in October 2012 when SUTD was picked by the Singapore government to be the university to continue the work of the Singapore-MIT GAMBIT Game Lab (GAMBIT). We are a strategic initiative supported by the National Research Foundation, Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore under its Game Research, Education and Training (GREaT) Funding Initiative. The SUTD Game Lab is created to pioneer a unique model of game experimentation, education, and training that will propel the Singapore game landscape to new heights. Our aim is to build on the success of GAMBIT to create opportunities to seed new innovators, entrepreneurs and innovations for Singapore, the region, and possibly even the world.
While conducting the Game Innovation Programme, our in-house game developers also develop innovative games. Check out what they are up to!
